John's treble is now about
80 years old and has
the classic wide
Arnold Dolmetsch
voicing.The wood is
varnished inside and out.
The beak is sleeved
with ivory but the
thumb hole is not bushed,
nor does it need to be.

It is made of tulip wood, now generally known as rosewood.
